Cayla
Cayla’s roots as a teacher come from the world of Ashtanga Yoga. Along with studying the philosophical understanding that it is not what we practice, but it is how we practice. She started teaching alignment-based yoga because it focuses on how to best support the body and also creating stimulation while simultaneously using the breath to reach a state of meditation while moving through each posture. Cayla’s goal as a teacher is to become a doorway for students to have the opportunity to return to their true self. Finding alignment not only on their mat but in their everyday life. From a young age, She began to navigate her own self-healing, which greatly transcended once she found her place on the mat. She has witnessed as well as experienced how this practice has transformed people’s lives, opening the door to limitless possibilities. Cayla’s mission as a teacher is to continue the work that was once passed on to her, offering space and opportunity for students to step into their power.
